Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about implant components, surgical guides, and ordering.

Yes, our clinical support team provides complimentary guidance on implant component selection. Whether you need help choosing the right abutment, impression coping, or prosthetic screw for your case, simply share your implant system details and case requirements and we will recommend the most suitable components. Contact us via WhatsApp or email to get started.

Our catalogue includes components compatible with leading implant systems in India including Adin, Dentium, MIS, Osstem, Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Zimmer Biomet, and more. Each product listing specifies the compatible system and connection type. If unsure about compatibility, contact our clinical support team with your implant brand and model.

Yes. We supply scan bodies, digital lab analogs, and Ti base components compatible with major intraoral scanners and CAD/CAM systems. Our team can guide you on selecting the right digital components for your scanner and milling system. We also offer surgical guide fabrication as part of our digital workflow support services.

A surgical guide is a custom-fabricated device used during implant placement surgery to ensure precise positioning, angulation, and depth of the implant fixture. It is designed from the patient's CBCT scan and digital treatment plan, eliminating guesswork and significantly reducing surgical errors. Surgical guides improve predictability, reduce chair time, and are especially valuable in complex multi-implant and full-arch cases.

To fabricate a surgical guide, please submit: (1) CBCT scan in DICOM format, (2) Intraoral scan or dental impressions of the arch, (3) Occlusal record or bite registration, (4) Prosthetic plan or desired implant positions if available. Our team will review the files, plan the case digitally, and share a treatment plan for your approval before fabrication begins.

Surgical guide pricing depends on case complexity — single implant, multiple implants, or full-arch. Please contact our team with your case details and CBCT scan for a customised quote. We offer competitive pricing with fast turnaround times. Reach us via WhatsApp or email for a quick response.

DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) is the standard file format for medical imaging data, including CBCT scans. It contains the full 3D volumetric data of the patient's bone, teeth, and anatomy — essential for accurate digital implant planning and surgical guide fabrication. Without a DICOM file, it is not possible to plan implant positions digitally or design a precise surgical guide.

After taking a CBCT scan, request the raw DICOM data on a USB drive or CD — not just a printed report or JPG images. Ensure the scan covers the full arch with a slice thickness of 0.2–0.4mm for best planning accuracy. Share the DICOM folder with us via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or WhatsApp for large files.

IOS stands for Intraoral Scanner — a digital device used to capture a precise 3D scan of the patient's teeth, gums, and bite directly inside the mouth, replacing traditional dental impressions. For surgical guide fabrication, the IOS scan provides the soft tissue and tooth anatomy that is overlaid with the CBCT bone data to design a guide that fits accurately over the patient's teeth or gums.

If your clinic does not have an intraoral scanner, you can: (1) Refer the patient to a nearby dental clinic or lab that has an IOS — many digital labs offer scanning as a standalone service, (2) Take conventional PVS or alginate impressions and have them scanned at a lab using a desktop scanner, (3) Contact us — we can help connect you with a scanning facility near you.

Yes. A conventional dental impression (PVS or alginate) is an acceptable alternative for most surgical guide cases. Simply take upper and/or lower impressions, pour them in stone, and courier the models to us along with your CBCT DICOM files. We will scan the models in-house and proceed with the digital planning. Please contact us before sending to confirm the submission requirements for your specific case.
